"Ever since I can remember I’ve been telling stories about people: their lives, their desires, their passions. Writing articles and books - and taking hundreds and thousands of pictures throughout the years, always trying to get to the the pure self of the person in my image.
Photos to make you happy – that’s what I’m trying to accomplish as a photographer today. The big smile on your face when you look at my pictures and tell me: This is who I am.
As a German living in the south of Italy my view on things keeps evolving. Travelling the world on assignment for various lifestyle magazines is one part of my perspective. The other is me being a wife and, most of all, a mother of a very lively and curious 5 year old girl who never quits to challenge my ways.
